Moscow At Christmas

I stand alone
In the middle of Red Square
People surround me everywhere
I feel the cold
I feel the snow
I see the Christmas lights
Shining on the Cathedral and Kremlin
I marvel at their glow
I close my eyes
And take it all in
As I stick out my tongue
To catch the falling snow
The bustle of people
All around me
Somehow brings me
A sense of serenity
I feel drawn
To this city somehow
But why here
And why now
I suddenly realize
The reason doesn't matter
What matters
Is that I am here
I hear a voice
Inside me tell me
I am exactly
Where I am
Supposed to be
