Toxic Patriotism
Taking lives

All throughout history
You would think
That by now

That truth we would
Finally fucking see
And no longer 
Let influence us
Like little puppies
Chasing praise and dopamine
Sucking down that kool aid
In the name of pride
That has never been right
While wilfully choosing blind
Over seeing the light

For money and power
While to care about
Their own people
Just can't even bother
As being nothing but
Walking talking ways

To make a dollar 
All they see 
They laugh at everybody

As we follow like blind little sheep

Government full
Of nothing but assholes
Lying about everyone else

To of you and me
Retain control
The narrative 
They keep feeding 
To everybody
We are oh so free
Except yeah not really
Welcome to the 
Third world country
Where the government would rather
Keep you sick because 
You make them less money
While being healthy
As they work you to death
For next to nothing
