Cast before the fall

The day 

That for us all

Hell did call

Lives taken

Humanity forsaken
Forgotten freedoms
Taken by demons

We saw coming
But did worse than nothing
Instead opting
To let them in
As they took from us
Everything

While each other we were
Too busy fighting
To waste time noticing

What once was humanity
