The beast we fear
Is not only
The beast in charge
But thanks to him
Is also the beast
We see in the mirror
Looking back at us
Smiling
With an evil snarl
We try to bravely
Ignore him
And go on our way
But he knows
Our weaknesses
All to well
For you see
The beast is you
The beast is me
And for chaos
The beast is
Forever hungry
So you best do
As the beast wishes
Unless you want to
End up a main dish
On the days
The beast decides
To have his feast
