A nation
In such a crisis
It's practically
On it's knees
Praying for
Any kind of relief
Dreaming of peace
It no longer
Believes can be
Lost in greed
And insanity
We have lost hope
In humanity

But fret not my friends
For this does not
Have to be the end
We can fix this
As long as we are
Smart and not
Selfish about it
Hand in hand
We can make a stand
And make the world
