Life can change
In an insant
And all you
Held dear

For granted
Can be gone forever
Tell me my friends
When was the last time
You told someone
You loved them
Or thanked them
For all they have done

We live our lives
In a bubble
Thinking we are
Invincable
But tell me
What happens
When the bubble bursts
And reality sets in

We as a society
Seem to be
Both afraid
Of everything
Yet fearless
We fear the dumbest things
Yet think we are
Indestructable
No one can harm us
The way we act
Nothing short
Of dangerous
But we don't care
And still we wonder
How the fuck we got here
