Power hungry world
Consumed
By greed
In which
So many
Are just
So focused
On status
Money

And power
I look at
The world
And think
If I were to be honest

None of that
Really impresses me
You know what
Would though

Humility
And the ability

To be humble

To lift others up
Instead of
Taking pleasure
In seeing them crumble
To be generous
Instead of greedy
And to be loving
Accepting
Instead of hating

And controlling
That is what
Would impress me
To see
How about you
