What could be done
With love
Acceptance

And the drive
To work
Together
To get things done
And make
Things better
Imagine
How much better
Life would become

If we put as much
Or even more effort

Into fixing
Society and our planet

As we did
Destroying it
Through hate
And wars
We have seen
Where wars
And hate
Get us
What happens
When we live
In so much
Distrust

Because of
Labels
And lies
Being told to us

By people
Who mean to
Control us

I can't imagine

That any of this hell
That has come out
Of any of that
Is what we truly want

We need to start
Fighting back
Start changing things
And the only place

To start doing so
Is so simple
It's ridiculous

How simple

The place to start
Making things right
Is none other
Than love
