The world is sick
Hate and greed

Are the symptoms
And we are
The disease
Plaguing
Society
And killing
The planet
Our ignorance
Hinders us
Our fear
Cripples us
And leads to hate
Which leads to
Violence
Which must

End before
It is too late
It seems like

Everyday
I turn on
The tv
And I see

More and more
Violence
Spelling the end
Of humanity

Another bombing
Another shooting

Another random
Catastrophe
That we
Just can't

Believe
Yet once again

Also can't agree
On why
It happened
And what should
Be done
To avoid it

In the future
We have become
So disconnected
To each other
And so numb
To the suffering
Of  others
It is sickening
And if we
Don't find
A way
To fix it
And I mean soon
It may
One day
Sooner
Than you think
Sadly be
The end
Of us all
