Stop feeding
The hatred
Of society
By always responding
To hate with
Just more hate
You think more hate
Will bring about change
But sorry my friend
The world
Does not work
That way
All that more
Hate brings
Is yep you
Guessed it
Even more hate
And all
Any of that
Leads to
Is more ignorance
And violence
That can turn deadly
Pretty quickly
In such
A veangeful
Society
When will we learn
That veangance
And violence
Will never
Be the long term
Solution
And in fact
All it does
Is make
Things worse
And at the root
Of that evil
Is very simply
The hate
We keep spewing
Because sadly
Even now
In 2015
Far too many of us
Still do not know
Any better
