I sit here thinking of a rhyme,
To express my feelings at this time.
I don't know what to say,
On my feelings this day.
I read your thoughts and think of you,
As I reach out with my heart too.
I want to be there... near and close,
But these words are all I have at most.
I want you to know that I'm here,
So that when you’re down you won't fear.
That you'll have peace of mind,
As another heart beats with yours in kind.
I stand in awe at how these emotions run through me,
At how clearly and boldly I see.,
You are my friend,
And I will be with you till the end.
It's amazing at how we click,
A better friendship I couldn't pick.
I'm here for you through time,
As I sit here writing this rhyme.
As my inspiration begins to fade,
Remember these words I have made.
