Of all the things

This dreary world brings.

Through my pessimistic heart,

And my blind teary eyes,

I treasure our friendship,

Forever and always.

Hearing from you,

Makes me see a new view.

The pain and the suffering,

Is all worth knowing you.

When my worlds gone bad,

You make it brand new.

You bring a new light,

When mine has burnt out.

I want you to know,

How much I appreciate you.

You make my day good,

When everything has gone bad.

I cant hurt myself,

When I know Im hurting you when I do.

You let me see through my blindness,

And help me gain strength everyday.

I only wish I could be,

As good a friend as you.
