A time and place

Is it ever too late to right all of your wrongs?

Will a broken heart ever heal again?

Can the pieces of a shattered dream be put back together?

Will sorrow ever give way to happiness?

Can a fragile marriage survive?

Will a bitter soul find true love again?

Can pain ever lead to joy?

Will the lost ever find their way back home?

Will broken friendships ever mend?

Can divided families reunite again?

Is it ever too late to tell the truth?

And when will all the lying end?

Is it ever too late to forgive?

Will the scarred memories fade away?

Can there be light in the endless darkness?

Will anything ever be the same again?

For every thing there is a time and place

Where all the scattered pieces will form a complete picture

Let life take it's course, let faith take it's lead

And let time give you the answers that you need.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem was inspired by the book written by Michael Ende "Momo". It gave me a different perspective of what time truly was. Here's a quote from the book that inspired me to write this particular piece:"Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it. Time is life itself, and life resides in the human heart."
