Coarse Rhythm (Corpse)

Folder:
Dark Poetry

Alien spaces, unfamiliar to thy eye.

Unseen behind the yesterday of lie.

Drowning voices, smothered by the rain.

Unheard beneath the silent scream of pain.

Allying memories come to hunt me apart.

Unfelt below the degrees of a frozen heart.

Mechanical emotions, programmed by an intimate.

Unseen by the mirror, shattered in broken little fits.

Cautious melody, forced to stare and tremble.

Unheard by the masses or the mindless they resemble.

Answers are buried under fallen sheets of truth.

Unfelt by the body that is swinging from the noose.

Rotting flesh is left here, curling like dead leaves.

Unseen in the piles that are raked beneath the trees.

Shadows fall so softly on horrid, grotesque scenes.

Unheard are the voices who bleed and try to scream.

Opaque is the sky that is crumbling down to us.

Unfelt by the ones who stare in necrophiliac lust.

Now nothing left is sacred, or romantic, just defiled.

Unseen are the weeping souls, deified in their exile.
