Through all my uncertainties,

you stood by my side.

When my world seemed to crumble down,

you stood in the remains,

ready to take my hand.

You gave me your friendship,

and I couldn’t ask for more.

You gave me your love,

and I love you just the same.

You gave me respect

no matter what I did or said.

When everyone turned their backs,

you stood face to face,

hand in hand with me.

No matter what I looked like,

you saw what was inside.

You’re my best friend

and you always will be.

No matter what paths we take,

or where life carries us.

You will always be the person in my heart.

You hold a special place,

in my soul and mind.

You’ll always be remembered,

till the day I die.

I hope you see,

that through it all,

you’ve helped me live my life.

When I was down, and felt like no one cared.

You were always standing there.

I can’t tell you how much you mean to me,

but this will have to do.
