I’m sorry that it had to be this way

Of all the times I tried

To laugh and then not cry exponentially

I’m sorry that it had to be this way



I’m sorry if my emotions flying

Caused some disallignment

I’m sorry that it had to be this way

But maybe there’s another way



I’m sorry that it had to be this way

I’m sorry if I brought out all my shame

That you took away for a moment

And I’m sorry if I leave a lot of pain

But at least you’ll know that I wasn’t sane after all



I’m sorry if I had you confused

Cause I sure was

And since I abused myself

I hope it didn’t happen to you

You never let me down

But I think I brought you down



I promise somewhere out there you’ll find some peace of mind

Not so hard to find out there

And before I go, I’ll give you a piece of mine

‘Cause I don’t wanna be forgotten

I know you’ll see past me

All I had was love for you
