Those Words

A fraction of my life or just about,
I sought someone, a kind as you;
You are one, difficult to do without,
Because I already pretended to.

With those words...

This very time marks one for us,
As I encounter in you some of me;
You alone carry a heirloom of trust,
By claims of my heart for all to see.

With those words...

I anticipate the day
You sweep me away
By greatness you say
With those words.

Captivate me in voice once more,
As you liberally speak your mind;
You are a lady indeed to adore,
One of grand adulation yet is kind.

With those words...

I obligate myself to earn your time,
If you are beyond those deserving;
Astounded by beauty but not a mime,
Because I have only you to be serving.

With those words...

You await the night,
I embrace you tight,
By comfort so right,
With those words.
