Label Me a Narcissist

Label me a narcissist,
Because I think highly of myself;
I'm a strong Black man
Beyond anything else.

Why would I be proud of who I am
And what we have finally become,
We are perserverant and promising
With hunger for opportunity and wisdom.

Each time I glance at my reflection,
I then begin to notice this perception...

So endurance derived from what was pain
And knowledge accumolated as maintained,
Only few knew such taboo would be true,
Then common, one more seeds grew.

Each time I glance at my reflection,
I then begin to notice this perception...

Label me a narcissist,
Because I think highly of myself;
I'm a strong Black man
Beyond anything else.

Each time I view my image
I then adore what are now visions so vintage.

Dreams of a father for his child,
Already set, destined by the will of God;
The setbacks are designed for strength
Of our faith against a heap of odds.

Each time I view my image
I then adore what are now visions so vintage.

My heritege is not enigma, a legacy,
As my forefathers fought for my son and I;
They believe that we come to a point
Where we accomplish goals if we just only try.

Each time I view my image
I then adore what are now visions so vintage.

Label me a narcissist,
Because I think highly of myself;
I'm a strong Black man
Beyond anything else.
