You ran recklessly ahead

Merrily living then sadly broken apart

Tears fell and fall

The future a distant dream

Life depleted

Emptiness you filled with fake euphoria

Walk with me out of the mist

Happiness awaits just near here

Your future beckons, just hold on

A new day, a new life

Now tiptoe ahead, tread carefully

Happy and sadness are

Life's abode

Tears come again then go
