Speaking in Souls

lingering dreams
streak early July skies
love’s mysteries raining
as fireworks fading light
silence liberated
as the booming reality
of dusk shared whispers
vibrantly explode
fervor resonating
in each secret
still left untold

concupiscent lightning
illuminates desire’s glow
there where
dewy summer breezes
blow thick
and the silhouette
of two hearts sway tender
within the whimper
of moon swept shadows
dancing eloquently
upon a midnight fancy

star strewn reflections
shimmer ravenous eyes
as crave glossed lips
spread the ribbons of time
and finally find
destiny spent rapture
within the twin flame truth
of the ages
where these two souls
have always burnt as one

and there beneath
the last twinkle of twilight
dawn moans reluctantly
spread upon expectant
eruptions of landscape
as day’s first rays expose
passion beaded flesh
and all the honesty
that could no longer
exist unsaid
