Or did God give you this life for-ever-more?
How do you perceive your death?
He gives our parents the gift of life.
He can end peace, or start a war?
But can he break down people in strife?
Is your life full of light or darkness?
Has your soul been shattered and scorned?
Do you live a life of barren starkness?
Do you find a blessed peace?
Or has your whole life been forlorn?
Watching for those who fleece,
God has granted us life in turmoil,
From our sovereign duty we should not recoil.
