~A Love To Last~





I  was so happy and still am that you came to my life when you did

That  long time ago when we chanced to meet on that beautiful spring day

It was for me  like magic when I saw your glowing and radiant smile

So warm it was that it just  paled everything around -you took my breath away.



It has been so many years since that nice spring day

And so many things had taken place since then we both  know

We  started  dating and then we  married not very long after that

Then we've made a  home to be together and raise a  family as we go.



I believe that I've shared with you most everything  I have

And after all this time I like to think  that you've done  the same for me too

I've always been very  honest and open with you  in everything I say and do

I am just like that with anyone who  comes to be a  part of my life somehow.



There are so many things I just want you  to hear and to know  today and everyday

Things that I don't know sometimes  how to express them the way I want to you

That leaves me now and then with this funny  feeling right deep within me

So today  I just want to thank you for loving me and for caring for all our children too.



I want you to know that I am so proud of you  for the man that you've become since we met

And for the good father that you are to all our  children  in every way that you can and  been able too…

I realize that you really care for everybody even when I am certain that you're so very tired sometimes

After  you come from work from a  very long and very busy exhausting day in the job you do.



I am sure you know by now that all our children love you and appreciate all  for them  you do

We've had so many good memories all these years and then we had those bad days  too sometimes to fill

It hasn't been at easy  all the time I  know  when  we have to  ride upon all those nasty and very bumpy highways and roads

That isn't fun at all but here,still we are and I want you to know that I just love you so and always will.
