~EXPECTATIONS~
(Dedicated to all my friends and readers)
Bitterness grows in you as the passing of time goes,
Lifting the pages from your life as in a book,
You look at all the mountains that someday you wish to climb,
But then you ended up right in the same trail that once you took
You feel like you haven't live up to your expectations,
Self-pity has a way of sinking its vicious teeth in your flesh again,
In silent you cry wetting so bitterly your pillow every night, frustration,
Comes knocking down again at your door's heart, as you're racking your brain
All these negative feelings will leave you with nothing and grow you more pain,
What's the point? You haven't found any solution, and your suffering is in vain,
Crying your heart out, won't help your cause at all but hurl more salt on your wounds,
Get on with what's left of your life, don't make the mistake of letting it go all in the drain
I know by experience that sometimes nothing it ls as simple as it seems, when we go through pain,
There are so many good books in our life, so go back and start another new book again
