It’s so hard to be apart

In pieces begins to break my heart.

Why alone did you have to leave me?

Without you I just don’t want to be

Days in and days out

So many things bring me doubt.

I hope you don’t stay away too long

And that your love as mine continues strong

I wait to get another letter today from you

If you don’t, my heart you’ll make it blue.

You know time passes fast too soon

And I long to see you before this coming June
