In nightly visions you come to me
But by now my feelings are strictly numb
I don't even know why you bother to come
Bitter tears hidden through darkly holes
In my heart and soul had taken their toll
For so long I can't feel in any way whole
They robed me of some good and then some
Straightforward,I keep this heart of mine
Trying hard to keep it together, in the line
Sometimes,I seem to hear its sorrowful pine
And then wish that my heart was always numb!
