Oh God, Be my Deliverer, when I am sinking below, in quicksand

My soul Oh Lord uphold, with a swift of your hand

And please always help me to withstand

Strong, til' I make it someday to Heaven, my Homeland!



Dearest Lord, help me meet all my daily demands

And not to ignore them with a reprimand,

Give me the strength to let you be in COMMAND

Over yours, do not let my will, to take its upperhand!
