~The Dare~

(A children's poem)





I dared him to do it

To throw the ball very hard I mean

To do it the very best that he could

To do it better than I've seen



So he accepted it my dare

Even when he knew he shouldn't do it

So he grabbed from me the darn ball

And threw it very hard when he did it



It just flew so high into the sky...

And landed right into the school you see

The principal and teachers came out running

And screaming very mad at my "Dad" and me



'Cause my Dad just broke one of the windows of the school,

And now my Dad feels like a complete, fool!!!
