~The Dare~

(A children's poem)





They dared me to do it

To throw the ball very hard I mean

To do it the very best that I could

To do it better than they've  seen



So I accepted it their dare

Even when knew I shouldn't do it

So I  grabbed from them that darn ball

And threw it very hard when I did it



It flew so very high in the sky

And landed right into the school you see

The principal and teachers came out running

And screaming  so very angry and mad at me!



'Cause I've just broke one of the windows of the school,

And as a "parent" now I feel like a complete fool!!!
