As you are blinded
Yet have sight to see
As you look at my appearance
No longer seeing me
Or to you
What I used to be
As I see your eyes close
No longer do they behold
That glint
That shining light
All there is
Is emptiness
Fueling my fright
As I try
To take flight
But my feet wont leave the ground
Trying to uncover
Only to go under
As I drown
In this dispair
Knowing you’re not around
So you don’t know
And can’t see
How your change
Is affecting me
As it is left in me
When we are together
Or apart
What was once
My shining light
Now is nothing
But the dark
