Everyone’s so excited
All the neighbors delighted
They flood my home with flowers
We had a baby shower
Everyone’s just so happy
Excited with you, baby
They are sending in some names
And are teaching me some games
Nursery rhymes we now sing
They also have books to bring
They’re excited over you
I hope they don’t over do
All attentions are on me
As they watch how I will be
But it don’t matter to me
Because I’m feeling happy
As I count the days now close
When you’d come and strike a pose
