Dear Lord

Today I pray

It’s been a hard long day

And my body is just too tired

But still I know I ought to thank you today

For my eldest came home and she

So proud and so happy

Her scores are up

Oh Lord

My second child

Learn even more each day

Sing songs so merry and so gay

She is an angel to most everyone

Caring even for her siblings

The older and youngest

So much of love

Oh Lord



Amen

To you oh Lord

The youngest one so dear

He brings even more cheer to us

All the more reason that I should thank you

For a family you have blessed

Of children so loving

Most thankful so
