SUN -"Oh beautiful flower that I give my rays to,

       why do you envy the rose beneath the tree?"



FLOWER - "For I gaze upon that flower and I see its beauty,

          but it doesn't see the same in me.

          My pedals become weak

          from the rain beatin' down on me.

          While it keeps its composure

          and gets no exposure,

          for it is protected by the tree."



SUN - (laugh)"You fail to realize

              that I bring to you sunshine

              and you bloom in such a beautiful way

              When I awake in the morn.,

              rising at dawn,

              I'm proud to shine on your face.

              The rain makes you stronger

              So that you will live longer.

              It cleanses your face

              And wash insects away

              While prolonging your stay

              and so that I may

              return to see you,

              yet another day."
