Thunder and lightning

Bring a certain calmness to my mind.

Looking up to the sky

No stars do I find.



The drops of rain

Falling from the sky,

Like the thoughts in my mind.

I couldn’t stop them if I tried.



The thoughts in my mind fall to this paper

Soaking it with the feelings form my heart.

Each thought a different color

Making this paper look like art.



When the thunder and lightning

Decide to cease

I look at my art

And reflect in peace.
