PIPPIN
Once she was a lonely pup
who stared out of a wretched cage
her life expectancy not good
although she was of tender age.
On hearing of her pending doom
we travelled down the coast to get her.
With rescue dogs you take a chance
but there's no dog that could be better.
She's nearly twelve now, my fur baby.
She's brought me so much joy and laughter.
I know that one day I will lose her
but I'll remember ever after.
She loves all animals and people,
wouldn't even hurt a starling.
Everybody loves my Pippin
for she truly is a darling!
