PEACE NO ONE CAN TAKE FROM YOU
Let your heart not be troubled; feel the peace
That passes understanding. There is no one out
There but you. You are that twinkling star.
Your are the dewy rose in spring and summer;
You are the god of this universe, taking the whole
Universe in for the experience. You and I are that one.
Somehow you look out of your eyes and see nothing
But separation and conflict. These are but voices seeking
Peace and love. Forgive them and forgive yourself.
There is but only one mind and as Whitman explains in
Leaves of Grass, “What I shall assume, you shall assume.”
You are the only one who can give this peace to the world.
These voices of recrimination you hear is nothing more than
Guilt. Because of our lack of forgiveness they come back
As an echo from your conscience. You are completely innocent.
There is nothing real other than that peace and love that
Was here before the Big Bang. If you have the power to
Make all your illusions real then make your peace as real.
