This Is Me

I am death

In all it's glory and mystery.

I am suicide

Sadness and mourning wrapped into one.

I am tears

beautiful yet filled with pain.

I am a lost little girl

Filled with the innocence of youth,

But also filled with the feeling of rejection.

I am a laid-off nurse

Wanting so badly to help people again,

But not being able to.

I am the adolescent girl

With the cuts on her arms,

Lone and looking for escape.

I am the bastard child

Forever looked down upon

Forever knowing my place.

I am the famous writer

Genuine in my writings

Always telling the truth,

And trying to help the world.

I am a child abuse victim

Dealing with my pain,

And covering the scars.

I am the abandoned baby

Crying non-stop tears.

I am the beautiful actress

Forever fighting

And foreer mourning.

I am

So beautiful and worshipped

When I'm pretending to be mysterious.

When really,

I'm just like everyone else.
