Dancing In The Dark

We danced in the dark

to sounds of the night,

embraced by the shadows and stars.

I remember your gown

hugging soft gentle curves,

caressing you ‘neath the sheer silk.

Your breath on my cheek

left a soft gentle sigh,

as we swayed by the light of the moon.

We danced in the night

to the whispering breeze,

your gown a silk pool at your feet,

I remember the sweet

fragrant scent of your skin,

he memory of you in my arms.

With lips upon lips,

hushing murmurs of love,

we danced through the night in the dark.
