fiber

it takes every fiber

of my being

to look you in the eye

this

thing

that you called

love

stabbed me right through

the heart

    (your stake pierced

         right through me)

tearing me down

every chance you got

made me into

what I am

pure

sacred

     nothing

as I lay here

beaten

from loving you too much

(you never loved me at all)

....

you wrapped my heart

around

your finger

twisting at every chance

my

mascara runs down

as you lay me down

once more

to confuse me

making my body feel things

that my

heart can't match

but

it wasn't enough

       (I)

can't think

can't feel

can't move

this fortress of bloody

unnerving

pain

that I have built for myself

isn't

    going

         anywhere

        (you don't care

            as you stare

                at me

                  then at your feet)

it takes every fiber

of

my being

to look you in the

eye

this torture that you

put me through

knows

no

boundaries
