In the hands of lonliness

left to fight

him off

holdong me so tight

I can't breathe

difficult

as it may seem

I fight

I cry

I scream

anything to let lonliness

know that

he can't hold me down

not for long

anyway

I can make it

if I try hard enough

I can find some

        peace of mind

a common ground

and

break free



lonliness's hands get a hold of me

again

and it's harder than ever

before
