The Day I Read A Dictionary

The day I read a dictionary it was very, very hard
I couldn’t read a single word I felt like a retard
Lots and lots of different words I really didn’t know
So I read through the meanings very, very slow

At the end of an exhausting day I’d read every single page
Now I’m really, really clever it feels like I’ve grown in age
And now it’s time to go to sleep at the end of a tiring day
And I wake up in the morning and the words have gone away.
