How?

How can you feel so deeply for another?

You tell me that you love me.

So I say it too.

I know that I couldn't live,

Unless it was with you.



These feelings arise

And it's no big surprise

That when I look at you,

When I see through your eyes,

I can see your love

So gentle and pure.

Asking myself, does she love me?

And of this I'm sure.



I pray.

Yes, I pray

That everyday

I can hear you say

Those three words,

The words that take me away.



My feelings run deep,

Yet I feel unsatisfied.

I want to feed this hunger

And believe me, I've tried

To give you everything.

To not keep you wondering,

"Does he love me?"



No one can take you

Take you away from me.

I'll keep you safe right by my side,

Because to my heart you hold the key.

I've loved before,

But not like this.

This is something new.

I wanted you to know I love you

And I hope you love me too.
