Painful Blindness
Unimaginable pain surging through my body,
My cries are unheard no matter how loud I scream.
Hopelessness buries me in this crypt of insanity.
I can’t see the light that is before me
I’m blinded by the darkness of my own sight.
In my desperation I kick and scream much louder
And in my minds eye I see the night sky get cloudier.
The abyss only swallows me deeper into its’ shadows
And overshadows my hopeless clamoring of bellows.
