REACH OUT AND TOUCH SOMEONE

I am wealthy beyond all measure,

Not speaking of worldly treasure,

But family and friends who open my mind

When my eyes have become blind

To all the beauty God has made

By His love which will never fade.

We, sometime, someone's life will touch;

Be the lifeline to which they clutch.

Every life touched is part of God's plan

To fill us with love for each fellow man.

Friends wander in and out of our life

But are always there in times of strife.

God sends them in our times of need

Causing all our problems to recede.

Everyone we meet, God sends for a reason,

Whether for a lifetime or just a season.

Even though we do not understand,

God always offers a helping hand.

Someone we would least suspect

Could have a purpose we do not expect.

Try to view each person as a gift

Sent from God, our spirit to lift,

To rise above all worldly care

And in the love of God to share.
