Wake up to an alarm

Heartbeating a mile a minute

And back to bed

You sleepy head



Wake up once again

Forget where you are

And where you've been

A beautiful mistake

Is all you'll take



We knew this wouldn't last

So I really don't know how it even got this far

Driving in a car

I knew this 'love' thing couldn't be true

Not not with you...

Not getting far



I hate to feel hurt after I made another mistake

I hate to know you are still dreaming of me

I want nothing more than to be out of your life

But I'm drawn back, so back to the knife



You wanted a good one

So you got it

A life worth living well, at that

I want you to get to be a better person

I want you to get to be someone I'll never forget



Run, run, run with the energy

Don't give it up, don't even look at me

I drive by only to see how you are doing

Forget the past, forget the feelings...a memory



I hate it how I hurt you in the long run

I hate how the short-run ended up to be too long

I hate the way that I am hating how I'm feeling

But I really hope that you are doing well
