I am doing just fine

I just have a few things

I need to get off of my mind

Like when you saw me the other day

Did you really care at all

Or was that wave just a friendly gesture

To somone you used to know?



Cause I don't know

And I'm going away

But not to stay

I'll come back some day

Just you wait and see

This isn't the last you have seen of me



Hey cutie, what you been doing?

I've been packing and working all the time

Not much time to play or even to sit down

There really isn't too much to do in this town

So don't get mad when I don't call you

Know I'm busy or not around



Cause I don't know

And I'm going away

But not to stay

I'll come back some day

Just you wait and see

I wonder if you hate me

Or hate the way I've been

I am sorry if I don't try to see you

Or act much like a friend

I know you must feel hurt now

Something I know a lot about

Just know in due time, it'll go away

When I am in a brand new time and place



But I don't know

What to do now

I am going away in a half of a month

You told me I should stay

But I have to go

I'm not running away

This is something that I have no choice over
