It seems whenever darkness comes

Our deepest and darkest secrets show their beutiful faces

As you are looking deep into my eyes

As desert skies show their brilliant shine

I know you are all mine



Sweat gleaming off your forehead

Now I am staring out the window

At the world all around

So suddle and so sound

And the music plays

It repeats on for days much like our memories

Till the ticking stops, kill the clock

It's time to say goodnight, I don't wanna say Goodbye...



As a teardrop forms around your eye

I know that I want to break down and die

But I will see you again

I promise you this, my friend

I'd hate for this beautiful night to end



So now you are missing me

I'm missing you

We are as content as we have ever been

Thinking back to tonight again

It make me smile

Goes on for miles

20 miles or a million

It makes no difference at all

This distance is not existant at all

And I see you



So when you think back to me

In the back seat of the Jeep

I want to know what everyone is thinking now

You all want to know how the story ends

Whether fary-tale or pretend
