haha I see that you have had an interest in me

Interest in my poems I mean

Our friendship is growing just a bit

But don't worry I won't quit

You pique my interest but only for a minute

Because you seem to be into it

Our talks of course, short but not too bored

Just a bit more and I think we could grow more

You seem like you know a lot about life

But maybe that’s just a lie

Disguised by your insecurities

I hope this poem doesn’t have you turn from me

I am but a person curious to see

How far I can take with my honesty
