just a simple goodbye

there is no more laughter nor sadness

just my broken heart's cry.

i should have known

when i tried to create

something that did not exist

thinking it would be great.

so as i lay here in utter silence

for just a moment im captivated

though forgive me for my harshness

it was never u i hated.

i know ur always in my dreams

forever in my thoughts

so ill whisper a silent prayer

to say goodbye to the heartbreak u brought.
