You're gone.

Out of selfishness, I lost you.

With one simple lie, your love disappeared.

At first, I knew not what to do.

You gave me what I always feared.

He acted as if he was being a good friend.

He just wanted me to himself.

He brought your love to an end.

Then you moved on to someone else.

Your eyes turned cold as ice.

Your heart died on that day.

Truth is a simple price...

that I will make him pay.

I always claimed to 'use' you.

But i'd whisper how much you meant to me.

Those words were always true.

But I guess thats the part you never seen.

We'd go walking, hand in hand.

We'd call eachother names in fun.

Next to me, you'd proudly stand.

I was once your only one.

Gentle once were your kisses.

I used to see fire in your eyes.

You are who my heart misses...

I admit that I carried a good disguise.

I have limited time left here.

Then I begin a journey somewhere else.

Doubt you'll even shed a tear...

you're so wrapped up in yourself.

I'll think of you when I hear our song.

I'll think of you all the way there.

I'll think of how we'd cuddle all night long...

and how you'd run your fingers through my hair.

But all is said and done now.

You're convinced you feel nothing for me.

The fire you think has long since burned out...

will once again burn brightly.

So close your eyes,

lay yourself down to sleep.

Ignore the tears that you cry...

but you know it'll always just be me.
