I want a long walk on the park this evening
And sit on a bench and just watch the whole world fall asleep...
I want to stare at the sun while it sets far beneath
At the end of the ocean.
I wish you'd find me.
I will just be here, waiting for you
To sit by my side and hold my hand and caress my hair...
Under the moonlight we will talk and laugh
Like there is no tomorrow.
Can you see yourself in my eyes, deep in my soul?
When it rains, I want to run in it
And jump and dance around like a child...
With you, still holding my hand I will be fine
Your presence makes everything alright.
You always make everything alright.
Even as I walk alone the park this evening,
Even as I sit alone here in this bench...
Even as I write this dream...only a dream,
It still feels right, it has to be right.
There has to be a chance for you and me.
